Yes. I’m still alive. I have had no service, can’t even get a text out. I will try to catch up with my posts, but know that I just went through Walker Pass and am at mile 657 or so. I should be in Kennedy Meadows on Friday.

Adam is living the same sort of adventure as Lewis and Clark did 211 years ago. They had to endure poor cell phone service, as well. The only decent free wi-fi service they had was in the Mandan village on the Missouri River where they wintered over. All through the Rockies it was a bitch getting even Verizon coverage, and they were without wi-fi from the Mandan village until they found a Starbucks on reaching Seattle.

Lewis & Clark were ten times burlier than I’ll ever be, but yeah.

Hey Adam, I sent you microspikes on Monday, they should be waiting for you in Kennedy Meadows. Today I dug snowshoes & snow gaiters out of my storage locker, they’re in my car so if you want me to send one or both just let me know & I will. – Lucy

Hi everyone. Glide asked me to thank you all and let you know that he got all his stuff. It was an intense week which he regrets not being able to blog about.
Happy Birthday Adamface!!!

Adam arrived at Kennedy Meadows (mile 702) on Friday May 22. There is no mobile phone service so he called me on a pay phone (hey for 20th century stuff). He said he got all the packages that were expected, and he thanks everyone. I am excited that I got my permit for Desolation Valley and expect to meet him on June 20 and hike from Echo Summit from 6/22 through 6/25. Happy Hiking.
